How to Use Finger Diffuser

For fine, curly or frizzy hair, using a finger diffuser can help keep your locks tamed. A finger diffuser diffuses the heat and energy of a hair dryer to help dry your hair completely and gently. Fine and curly hair can get tangled and knotted very easily, which can damage and break the hair. Using a diffuser will help prevent knotting as well as help color treated hair stay vibrant.

Instructions

    1

Snap or screw on the finger diffuser to your hair dryer.

    2

Start drying your hair in a circular motion starting at the roots. This will help those with naturally curly hair get a silky smooth look.

    3

Hold the diffuser at a 90-degree angle. This will increase volume and help protect the hair from the heat of the dryer.

    4

Dry the ends of your hair once the roots are thoroughly dry.

    5

For added volume, run a large round brush through sections of your hair while drying it. This will create large waves or curls while keeping your hair silky and smooth.
