Technique Instructions for Hair Roller Placement ~ Hair Styling Tips

Hair rollers are a great beauty tool to have. They can add volume to lifeless hair or dress up hair that is usually worn straight. They are easy to use and can quickly change your hairstyle.

Instructions

Plug in the hot rollers and make sure the switch is turned on.

Make sure you start the hair roller process with clean, dry hair.

Wait five minutes for the curlers to heat up.

Pull two-thirds of your hair up in a hair clip.

Take a two-inch-wide section of hair and brush it out.

Take a roller out of the case and place it under the ends of your hair.

Starting from the bottom and working your way up, roll the hair around the curler until the curler is rolled up to the scalp.

Secure the curler in place with a small clamp. Most hot curler sets come with clamps but if yours doesn't, use a small clip that fits around the curler.

Continue to curl all of the hair not up in the clip, making sure to only put two-inch sections of hair around each curler.

Once these sections are done, remove the clip and pull down one-third of your hair, putting the last third up into the clip. Continue the curling process for this section of hair. Remove the hair clip and repeat the process for the last one-third of the hair.

Leave the curlers in for 10 minutes, then take one curler out. If you like the amount of curl, take out all of the rollers. If you want your hair to be more curly, leave them in for another 10 to 20 minutes.

Take out all of the curlers and spray your hair with hairspray, so your curls stay intact.
