Making your hair look its best usually involves a few things. Access to styling tools, hair products and a desired look are some of the most common requirements. For a low-maintenance hairstyle, consider a roller wrap. It will produce a simple result with extra shine and bounciness. With a few steps, you'll learn how to roller wrap hair.

Instructions

    1

Part your hair into several sections for easier rolling. Comb through the sectioned hair until it appears smooth enough to wrap around the roller. If you avoid doing this, you'll increase the chances of having frizz. Use a setting lotion, detangling spray or a leave-in conditioner to assist with the smoothing process during combing.

    2

Wrap the sectioned hair around the roller several times until it reaches your scalp. Secure it in place with a hair pin or the included curl attachment. Follow this routine until your entire head has been done. Once you've finished, sit under the hair dryer to begin the process of drying your hair. This can be done for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the length of your hair.

    3

Remove the rollers from your hair after it has completely dried. Comb out the curls until they're loosened. Although you'll still be able to wrap your hair when it's tightly curled, the overall effect comes out much smoother with looser curls. Pick a location on your head to part your hair. It can be divided down the middle of your head or parted to the side.

    4

Brush your hair in a circular motion from one end of your head to the next. Make sure that all tangles have been fully combed out. To get a much smoother effect, apply a polishing serum or spray a light mist of oil sheen onto your hair. Continue brushing your hair into a circular motion until all of your hair has been wrapped around your head.

    5

Secure your hair in place with large hair pins. Strategically place them throughout your hair to prevent it from falling out of place. If your hair isn't long, you'll also be able to use the smaller hair pins to keep it positioned correctly. Spray a light mist of oil sheen to finish the process and produce shinier hair results and extra body.

    6

Tie a silk scarf around your head before going to bed. This will allow your hair to stay in place while you're resting and prevent unwanted frizz. When you're ready, remove the scarf and pins that have secured your hair overnight. Unwrap your hair from around your head and begin combing it into your desired hair style.
